After School
Dynamic educational opportunities abound after Dismissal. Students grow their skills, expand their social circles, and encounter new challenges by participating in our robust after school offerings, which span every age and interest.
PlayGroup
(K-5th Grade)
PlayGroup is a play-based, drop-in program offered every day from Dismissal until 6:00 p.m. PlayGroup is also offered when school is closed for Parent/Teacher Conferences. Families are billed by the half hour.
AfterSchool Classes (K-5th Grade)
The AfterSchool program offers courses for Lower School students across a variety of subjects, including chess, robotics, martial arts, dance, Woodshop and more.

Intermural Sports (5th-8th Grade)
The goal of the VCS Athletics Department is to provide the most enriching experience possible to student-athletes, both individually and collectively within a team setting. We offer students the opportunity to participate in four sports annually: Soccer or Volleyball in the fall, Basketball in the winter, and Track & Field in the spring.

Drama
(6th-8th Grade)
Upper School students may participate in two theatrical productions a year: a Fall Play and Spring Musical.
The Drama Department is student-focused, with myriad opportunities for students to contribute their talents, from set and costume design, tech/stage management, direction, choreography, and more.
Music (3rd-8th Grade)
In addition to Music classes and electives during the school day, students have several opportunities to grow their music skills after school.
