Village Community School (VCS) uses the Ravenna application system for admissions, including scheduling appointments and submitting required documents.

Applications for the 2026-2027 school year will open on Friday, August 1, 2025. Kindergarten applicants must be 5 years old by December 31, 2026.

Steps to Apply

  1. Create a Ravenna account.

    Create an account to manage your VCS application, schedule appointments, and submit required documents.

  2. Complete and submit your application.

    Submit your VCS application through Ravenna by 5:00 p.m. on Monday, November 24, 2025.

  3. Schedule a school tour, parent interview, and applicant visit.

    • School Tours: Available via Ravenna, no application required.

    • Parent Interviews: Conducted in person or remotely via Zoom.

    • Applicant Visits:

      • Kindergarten and 1st Grade: 45-minute group sessions with Admissions.

      • 2nd–8th Grade: Classroom visits scheduled in January.

  4. Submit required additional items.

    • Transcripts (Grades 1-8): Request transcripts for the current year and the previous two years.

    • Teacher Report: Submit the ISAAGNY Confidential School Report Form.

    • ISEE Test Scores (Grades 5–8): Send ISEE scores directly to VCS.

  5. Submit Tuition Assistance Application (if applicable).

    Submit your Clarity Tuition Assistance Application by 5:00 p.m. on Monday, November 24, 2025.

Admissions Key Dates

The VCS application deadline is November 24, 2025. Families who apply by this date will be notified according to the ISAAGNY timeline.
