Application Process

1. Create a Ravenna account to manage your VCS application, schedule appointments and submit required documents.
    
2. Submit your VCS Application for Admission with the non-refundable $70.00 application fee by Friday, December 4th, 2026 . A prorated application waiver code is available for families also applying for tuition assistance. Please contact vcsadmissions@vcs-nyc.org to receive your code. 
    
3. Schedule your Appointments on Ravenna after submitting an application. Key appointments include:

• School Tour: Attending a school tour is required for all prospective families that seek admission to VCS. Tours are available from late September through mid December. 
   
• Applicant Visit: PreK applicants will be seen in groups of 4 to 6 students in November or December for 45 minutes. 
   
• Parent Interview: Prospective families are required to complete a 30 minute interview either in person or on Zoom with a member of the admissions team. 

Additional Items

• Delegate the ISAAGNY School Report for 3 and 4 Year Old Applicants to your child’s current teacher.
   
• Early notification is available for PreK applicants. Early notification applies to children of current sibling families and alumni. Please email vcsadmissions@vcs-nyc.org if you are interested or have any questions regarding early notification.

• Early Notification (Parent Reply): No later than 12:00 PM on December 16th, 2026

• Parent Interview: Prospective families are required to complete a 30 minute interview either in person or on Zoom with a member of the admissions team.

• Delegate the ISAAGNY School Reference Form for Grades 2–5 to your child’s current teacher.
   
• Submit current report card and transcripts from the previous two years.

• Delegate the ISAAGNY Teacher Evaluation Form for Middle School Applicants for applicants to Grades 6 to 8.
   
• Submit current report card and transcripts from the previous two years.
   
• ISEE is required for applicants to Grades 5 through 8. Submit those scores directly to VCS.
