Athletics at VCS are rooted in our mission, igniting students’ confidence; encouraging them to take on responsibility; and inspiring them to take risks. With the support of our Athletics Department, our aspiring athletes learn the importance of collaboration, sportsmanship, grit, and spirit.
Whether students are well-versed in the sport of their choice, or are looking to spread their wings, we provide a highly-enriching and motivating experience so that every VCS Blue Jay may soar.
Intermural Sports
Starting in Grade 5, students may choose to join an interscholastic team and compete against local independent schools that are a part of the Downtown Independent School Consortium (D.I.S.C.). Throughout the year, we offer students the opportunity to participate in four sports annually: Soccer or Volleyball in the fall, Basketball in the winter, and Track & Field in the spring.
