Soccer
Skill. Strategy. Teamwork.
Each fall, students can compete as members of VCS’s 6th Grade and 7th & 8th Grade Soccer teams. Both teams are co-ed, and all upper schoolers are invited to participate. Our expert coaches, many of whom are VCS teachers, provide the support to help all players, regardless of experience level, blossom into determined, skilled, and spirited athletes.
Throughout the season, student athletes benefit from use of our Sky Yard, an outdoor area on our 4th floor that provides ample space for students to practice together. All games are hosted at Pier 40, which is just a short walk from our campus. On game days, our community loves to attend matches to cheer on our Blue Jays!
VCS competes as a member of the Downtown Independent School Consortium (D.I.S.C.) League.
